Okra

Okra plants in pots, both red and green, at my front garden. Planted these plants almost two months ago.

Harvested the okras. I steamed these with a dash of salt. Really sweet!

Happy Gardening!

  2. What healthy okra plants you have there. I had tried planting some in pots but I don't know most of it died after few weeks. I thought plant like this won't grow much in a pot but you suddenly changed my view about it. Thanks! Now I have the spirit to plant some vegies in pots.

  3. Hi Miz Helen,
    Thank you for visiting!

    Hi I Wong,
I have six plants of okra, that is not much considering the number of plants! Good luck with your okra!

  4. You steamed the whole thing? I normally cut in small slices and fry it with ikan bilis. One plant only produce a few okra. To have enough veggie to eat, we really need to grow a lot of each.

  19. Wow your okra looks amazing. I planted some but only one is growing! We had a very wet spring and I didn't do too well with a lot of things I planted. Most of my tomatoes are still not ripen. I'm sorry to hear about your carrots not being successful. I've been so busy since we moved that I find it hard to find time to blog. Hope you have a great week!
