The leaves have a web-like pattern after being eaten by these pests.
They have a rather spikey body!
It moves quite fast too!

ReplyDeleteNo, I have not seen this pest before. I would think pest dislike bitter gourd plant due to its taste. So, I am wrong then. Did you have to kill the plant in order to prevent the pests from multiplying in your garden?
ReplyDeleteFyi, to take close-up photo of the pest, you can turn on the "macro" function on your camera. It usually comes in a picture of a flower on most camera. Good luck!
What a coincidence...i also have the picture of this creature in my latest post.....it was in my garden about a month ago and i also have no idea what it was....but it was on the wall and i didnt see any sign of leaves being eaten yet, so far...but the color is different...the one i found was dark...glad u shared this...

I have just planted a bitter gourd plant in the garden I hope I dont get any visitors like that .
