Nai Pak Choy harvest

I sowed some nai pak choy seeds and the veggies was harvested about 65-70 days later.

A basketful of Nai Pak.

The seedlings.

Harvesting day!

Some close-up shots before I pulled them out!

I stir-fry them with lots of garlic, stems are crispy and fresh, leaves are tender!

Now, let's take a look at my Kai Lan harvest.

The last of my Kai Lan harvest. I have harvested 5 times from my two containers of Kai Lan since I sowed the seeds six months ago. Very happy with the harvests! The main stems are very hardy and seems to grow in awkward directions, so  I have decided to use the containers to grow other veggies.

A Kangkung Harvest

These kangkung was harvested a few weeks ago. I grew these Kangkung from seeds and they are really fast growing veggie. Harvested them in less than 60 days from date of sowing. Really easy to grow, as long as the soil is always damp, they will be happy.

Quite a fair amount from one pot of container! And I thought that growing them in one container would not be enough!

Makes a plateful of stir-fry for our dinner. Tender and tasty! Yum!

Chinese Spinach (Amaranth)

I love Chinese Spinach (yin choy), especially the round leaf variety. The young tender leaves and stems when stir-fry, tastes really good. These veggies are easy to grow and can be harvested in just 45 days from date of sowing.

I did not harvest this earlier and they are getting mature with signs of flowers.

First harvest :
Since these are a little too old to stir-fry, I used them to make some noodles. Blend the leaves and stems with a small amount of water, strain and use the juice for noodle making.

Second harvest :
The leaves and stems are young, tender and sweet.

Since the amount is not enough to stir-fry, they went into a quick lunch of instant noodles!
